3 hours

Moderate

Ride a quad into the Eastern Desert from Hurghada, with photo stops along the way and Bedouin tea at a desert camp. Morning and afternoon trips.

The desert behind Hurghada is emptier and stranger than most visitors expect, and a quad is the honest way to cross it.

The route runs out through open desert with stops for photographs at the points where the mountains come into view, then on to a Bedouin camp for tea and a short camel ride.

Morning departures are cooler; afternoon runs finish in better light. Both are guided throughout.
