The greatest concentration of ancient monuments on earth, in one long day: Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the Colossi of Memnon.
Luxor holds roughly a third of the world's surviving antiquities, and it is close enough to the Red Sea to see in a day if you start early.
The itinerary covers Karnak - the largest religious building ever constructed - then crosses to the west bank for the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Standard entrance fees, lunch and an Egyptologist guide are included. The drive is four to five hours in each direction.
