Afternoon into evening in the Hurghada desert: ride out to a Bedouin camp, enjoy dinner under the stars and a show that runs until the fire burns low.

The Eastern Desert changes character completely in the last two hours of daylight. This trip is timed to catch exactly that.

You ride out in the afternoon, reach the Bedouin camp as the light turns gold, and stay for tea, a barbecue dinner and an oriental show once darkness falls.

It is the most complete of the desert programmes and the one that most people photograph the most.

Guests under 16 may not drive a quad alone but may ride as a passenger with an adult.

Not suitable for pregnant guests or anyone with back or neck problems.

Exact departure time is confirmed the day before by phone or WhatsApp.

Pick-up around 14:00; back at your hotel around 19:30.

An extra charge of £10 per person applies for hotels in Soma Bay, El Gouna and Kalawy. For the private boat charter the surcharge is £30.
