A full day at Sha'ab El Erg, the horseshoe reef where wild spinner dolphins rest. Snorkelling, lunch on board and a real chance of a close encounter.

Sha'ab El Erg is a horseshoe-shaped reef north of Hurghada where a resident pod of spinner dolphins comes to rest during the day.

The boat anchors at the reef for guided snorkelling and stays long enough to give the dolphins time to approach on their own terms. Lunch and drinks are served on board, and the banana boat and sofa ride run between stops.

Sightings are common but never promised - these are wild animals and the crew will not chase them.
